London. The borrower, a well-established residential investor, required rapid
execution to secure the opportunity.
GRE structured the facility to enable the borrower to complete the acquisition and
progress a value-add strategy, including refurbishment and optimisation of the asset.
The loan was underwritten at a conservative leverage level, ensuring strong
protection for investors.
The strategy was executed successfully, and the loan was repaid through refinancing
with a mainstream lender. Investors received full repayment of capital along with
strong interest returns.
