GRE Capital Expands Offering to Include Development Finance

GRE Capital is pleased to announce the launch of a new product line, providing bespoke development finance to experienced sponsors across the UK real estate market.

Since its founding in 2020, GRE Capital has built a strong track record in structuring senior, stretch senior and preferred equity facilities for transitional projects. The introduction of development finance marks the next stage in the firm’s growth, expanding its ability to support clients through the entire property life cycle.

Development finance will be offered to sponsors with credible business plans and proven delivery experience, with facilities structured to provide capital for ground up construction and large scale refurbishments. Each loan will benefit from GRE Capital’s disciplined underwriting, active asset management and focus on capital preservation.

Michael Mirelman, Director at GRE Capital, commented: “Our move into development finance is a natural progression of our strategy. We have always focused on funding transitional projects where value can be created. By offering development finance, we can now support sponsors from land acquisition and planning through to completion, ensuring continuity of capital throughout the development journey.”

Daniel Benton, Director at GRE Capital, added: “The UK continues to face a significant undersupply of high quality housing and commercial space. Development finance allows us to play a direct role in addressing this demand, while maintaining the rigorous credit standards and bespoke structuring that define GRE Capital.”

With over £200 million lent since inception and a zero capital loss track record, GRE Capital is well positioned to deliver flexible, risk managed development funding. This new capability reinforces GRE Capital’s commitment to supporting clients with intelligent, tailored solutions across all stages of real estate transformation.
